World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) will be celebrated on Tuesday March 21, 2023. The Halton Down Syndrome Association (HDSA) is celebrating our Exceptional Students with the “Rock Your Socks” campaign for inclusion and Down Syndrome awareness.
Schools and students are encouraged to “Rock Your Socks” to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st by wearing a pair of fun or mismatched socks to recognize our differences.
The Halton Down Syndrome Association developed a PDF flyer for elementary and one for secondary (attached), where you will find video messages to share with staff and students and instructions on how to submit your own video of your group dancing with your socks to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day.
