Good Afternoon, Corpus Families,
As you may recall, this year we implemented a new locker model at Corpus Christi to enhance school security and reduce environmental waste. Each student in the building received a school-issued lock and used it throughout the year. We want to remind our students that the locks are theirs to keep and, for those returning next year, to keep it in a safe place over the summer and bring it back in September. We will be issuing new lockers to students in September based on homeroom and other factors, but they will be using the same lock that they are using right now.
Please encourage your child to clean out their locker upon completion of their last exam or day of school, discard their garbage appropriately, and bring their belongings (including their lock) home for the summer. We expect that all lockers will be vacated by the end of the school day on Tuesday, June 27th. Students who lose their lock over the summer will be required to purchase a new school-issued lock from the Main Office in September.
