Hello Corpus Families,
We are pleased to announce that on Monday, October 2, 2023, Halton ADAPT (Halton Alcohol, Drug and Gambling) will be visiting Corpus Christi to deliver grade-level presentations. ADAPT will be addressing our students on harm reduction, abstinence, overdose awareness, and substance classifications. Each grade will also be addressed on grade and age specific issues such as Vaping (Grade 9’s), Cannabis Use (Grade 10’s), Alcohol (Grade 11’s), and the risks of mixing substance mixing (Grade 12’s).
We look forward to learning alongside our students. While we know some topics are sensitive and difficult to discuss, we recognize the importance of doing so in order to promote safety and healthy living.
