On Wednesday, February 28th it is National Pink Shirt Day. We invite all staff and students to wear a pink shirt (uniform bottoms) for bullying awareness. Pink Shirt Day is to honour a Grade 9 male student from a small town in Nova Scotia who was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to his school. A couple of students that he went to school with decided to take a stand against the bullies and wear pink shirts as well as hand them out for other students to wear.
