On Sunday, November 26th, 2023, 50 members of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Secondary School DECA Team traveled to Brock University in St. Catharines to compete at the DECA Regionals Competition.
DECA is a not-for-profit student organization with more than 177,000 members around the globe. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for their future careers.
At the competition, students from Grades 9-12 showcased their exceptional business and critical thinking skills as they competed in judged case study events focused on entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, law, hospitality and management.
It was an amazing and successful day of competition and fellowship, with 22 members of the St. Francis Xavier DECA team qualifying for the DECA Provincials Competition taking place in Toronto in February!
