Good afternoon ND Parents, Guardians, Staff, and Students,
With the on-going construction at Notre Dame we want to share with you the temporary parking/drop off/pick up/bussing/pedestrian routes around the school. Construction will be completed within the next 2-4 weeks. During that time we want to ensure that all ND community members are safely navigating around the construction areas.
Attached below is the site map which indicates bus paths and pedestrian paths.
Please note the following important details:
1) There will be no through traffic for any parents or guardians on site. All pick ups and drop offs must be done at Ireland Park. Please do not drop students off along Headon Forest Drive.
2) Staff parking will be by the gymnasium and tech compound. Student parking is by the tech compound.
3) There will be no parking or through traffic by the front of the school
4) IMPORTANT – the original entrance to the school by the Notre Dame concrete digital sign will now be an EXIT ONLY. Entrance to the school parking lots will only be at the far north (tech) and south (gym) ends.
5) Bus pick up and drop off will be at the rear of the school. Bussed students will enter/exit the school through doors 17, 19, 21, 22, and 23. Special education bussing will drop off and pick up by the greenhouse and use door 7.
6) Pedestrians can use all the aforementioned doors as well as the front doors including doors 30, 1, 4, 7, and 9.
7) Please note that the construction area will be cordoned off, please be mindful when entering/exiting the front of the building.
8) Accessible parking will be available by the gymnasium parking lot.
