Good Morning Assumption Families,
Please see attached for the semester one final exam schedule and the examination procedures for students.
Please reach out to your child’s teacher with any specific questions regarding final assessments. All staff contacts can be found on our Assumption website: https://secondary.hcdsb.org/assumption/
A few important considerations:
- Please ensure vacations are not scheduled during the exam period. In the weeks leading up to exams students will be completing culminating assessments in their classes. Regular attendance is imperative during this time so students can demonstrate their learning.
- If your child is going to be away during the exam or culminating period, please reach out to administration as soon as possible to discuss next steps.
In the new year our staff will be working closely with students in all classes to develop strategies to prepare and demonstrate their learning in an exam format. Please reach out to administration with any questions.
