Sports Leadership – First Major Sports Event is Here…Joe Luciani Memorial Bowl Flood Light Games Thursday Sept 24-Kickoff time…4pm juniors, 6 pm seniors 

Cost-$5 through cash online or pay through QR codes posted inside the school. 

Joe Luciani was a passionate educator and administrator at both STA and ND. His dual influence in schools and on the football field has impacted generations of student athletes. His servant leadership as a coach for 43 years clearly frames his selfless service to the school and football communities. These games carry forward his dedication and honor his legacy on and off the football field.

Blood Drive Health Care SHSM – Attention all staff and students aged 17+. ND Health Care SHSM is out for blood! Blood stores are critically low and we are asking for your help by donating blood right here at ND on Wednesday, September 23 in gym 3. Go to blood.ca, click “BOOK NOW” and enter ND’s code: 661225 to make your appointment. Pick up a permission form from Ms. Facca in room 241. Blood. It’s in you to give! 

Non-Profit/Education SHSM – ATTENTION all Non-Profit and Education SHSM students.  Please check your school email for important information about your school year. In addition, there will be a MANDATORY MEETING TODAY MONDAY SEPTEMBER 21ST in room 232 AFTERSCHOOL. This is a brief meeting but MANDATORY. For more information, see Mrs. Barros in room 232.

Manufacturing SHSM – INTERESTED IN MANUFACTURING OR THE SKILLED TRADES?

There is still time to join Notre Dame’s Manufacturing SHSM for this school year!

Manufacturing SHSM gives students opportunities to:

• Earn industry certifications
• Participate in hands-on training
• Visit manufacturing companies and training centers
• Explore apprenticeship, college, university and workplace pathways
• Attend SHSM trips and special events
• Connect with employers and skilled trades professional
• Build experience for your resume and future career

Interested in welding, machining, CNC, robotics, automation, engineering or the skilled trades? Manufacturing SHSM could be for you.

Writer’s Craft – Do you enjoy writing poetry, fiction, nonfiction, or anything creative? Join Writer’s Craft! Whether you want to enter competitions and win prizes, work toward getting published, or just write for fun, all students are welcome and no experience is needed. We meet Mondays from 2:30 to 3:30 in Room 236 with Ms. Rikabi and Ms. Fiorillo. Bring a notebook, a pen, and your writing spirit!  ee you Monday!

Health Care SHSM – ND there are 2 more sleeps until ND’s biggest blood drive in over 15 years!!! We are targeting 100 blood donations! There is still a chance to sign up and donate this Wednesday and save up to 3 lives! Pick up permission forms on door 241 and return them to Ms. Facca ASAP. Don’t forget to bring your government issued ID to your donation. Blood! It’s in you to give ND!!

Health Care SHSM – Special Education Department – Attention all Health Care SHSM students! We will have a very brief meeting after school on Tuesday Sept. 22  in room 241 for Blood Drive Logistics. It will be less than 10 minutes. See you there!

Special Education Dept. – Attn ND Staff and Students! Life Skills classes will be making and selling popcorn this week on Tuesday and Friday. Get your freshly popped bag in a variety of sizes – $1 for a regular, or $5 for a Freeman bag! See you in the spec during both lunch breaks.

Business Leadership – Krispy Kreme donuts are back! If you’d like to order, they’re $16 per box. The deadline to place your order is September 29th, and pickup will be October 6th in the Spectrum. And if you’d like to keep up with us and see what we’re up to, make sure to follow our Instagram at @ndbusinessleadership.
