There is a peer tutoring opportunity available to our Grade 9 and Grade 10 students this semester. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to receive academic support/mentorship in Math, Science or English at no financial cost. We strongly recommend this for any student who is experiencing challenges in the classroom to enhance their levels of achievement.
The L2L Peer Tutoring program will provide students with live peer tutoring support two days per week from Wednesday, October 26th to Tuesday, January 24th. Our goal is to service as many students as we can, however space is limited to the number of tutors that we have available. If you think this program may benefit your son/daughter, please complete the Google Form as soon as possible. We will notify all parents/students if we are able to accommodate your request. Please note that if your child takes a tutoring spot, your child is expected to show up to ALL scheduled sessions. The tutors are generously giving up their time and this time needs to be respected.
Tutoring sessions will run two days per week in the library from 2:25pm – 3:40pm. If you have any questions about the program, feel free to contact Ms. Sneyd, sneyde@hcdsb.org or at (905) 335-1544 ex 1010. You will receive confirmation if your son/daughter gets a spot in the program.
