CHRISTMAS CHARITY – Adopt-a-Family/Teens 4 Teens

ADOPTING-A-FAMILY

Period 1 Classes who choose to participate are paired with a family in need from St. Patrick’s Parish. Although the family remains completely anonymous, the church provides some basic information on the family’s ages, genders and in some cases, what they would like or need.
These classes then raise money and shop for their adopted family.
Student volunteers then work to wrap up and decorate the gifts and prepare them for the parish volunteers to deliver to the families to put under their trees in time for Christmas.

TEENS 4 TEENS

Period 1 Classes who choose to participate, raise money to purchase gift cards for teenagers in need. Recipients remain completely anonymous, but classes feel good about helping those in need in our own school community.
Please help us to keep this beautiful and important Assumption tradition alive by making a donation on school cash online today!

Crusading for Cans – UPDATE

We thank everyone who was able to support our annual ‘Crusading for Cans’ initiative. Together, we collected over 8000 items for the Burlington Food Bank! For those who are unaware, this Assumption tradition has our students go out on Hallowe’en night and collect non-perishable food items for our community. Instead of asking for candy, they’re asking for food donations.
