We are getting ready to take delivery of our Fresh from the Farm produce order for all of those who supported this fundraising initiative.
If you are receiving this email, you have ordered for home and are awaiting your bundle(s) of fruits and/or vegetables. For pick-up, please see below:
Pick-up Date: THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2023
Time: 2:15 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.
Place: SMALL CAFETERIA
Note: If you can not make it on Thursday, you may pick up your order at the main office on Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
If you have ordered fruit and vegetables to donate, THANK YOU!! The Burlington Food Bank will be receiving all donated bundles and they are overjoyed with your generosity. Assumption donated:
• 19 Bundles of Apples
• 40 Bundles of fresh vegetables
The following is from the organization:
“We would like to thank all the schools and child care centres across Ontario that have participated in this years Fresh from the Farm school fundraising campaign. Our growers are busy preparing all the products for your orders. Because of your hard work, dedication and strong communities, you have collectively raised over $250,000 for your school communities this year. In addition, you have supported Ontario farmers by selling over 335,000 pounds of fresh Ontario fruit and vegetables.”
Again, all proceeds will be going to support our Special Education program here at Assumption – we can’t thank you enough for your support.
