School Communication #14

Good morning Assumption – below are some items of interest for your attention:

Woodward Driveway – Entrance Closed November 6 – 12

Please note that we have some unexpected but necessary asphalt work to do at the school and we have no control over the timing of the work.  The Woodward Entrance (beside the electronic sign) will be closed starting on Monday, Nov. 6 and is expected to be closed for 4 days.  Staff and students will be limited to entry and exit of the school.

For Monday, November 6 – 12:

Please consider dropping off close to the school without entering the parking lot.  Allow students to walk a block or two for these days to help with parking lot congestion.  We need your assistance in regards to helping our bus drivers enter and exit the property.

If absolutely necessary:

School Entry for Drop-off/Pick-Up:  Woodward Avenue (usually the exit)

School Exit: Cumberland

Please note that we do expect delays due to only having the 1 entrance off of Woodward and we are asking staff and students to plan accordingly.  We will provide more updates as we get them and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Cafeteria Closed Today

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the cafeteria closed today.  We let our community know as soon as we found out and we are hopeful for it opening tomorrow.  If the decision is made by Chartwell’s (HCDSB’s operating company) not to open tomorrow, another email will be sent home after 3:00 p.m. today.
