Used Uniform Sale
On Thursday, February 1, our exam review day, we will be holding our Used Uniform Sale.
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Place: Small Cafeteria
The sale will be using SchoolCashOnLine and you can scan a code while at the sale in order to make a purchase (no cash or cheques).
Exam Review Day – Thursday, Feb. 1st, 2024
- Students can come to school and meet with teachers to talk about their exams/culminatings
- 8:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- 1:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. (Common staff lunch – 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.)
- Buses will run at regularly scheduled times.
Black History Month – February, 2024
All month, Assumption will be celebrating with the following:
Purdy’s Chocolate Fundraiser
Once again, we are selling chocolates for Easter! Our target timelines are as follows:
Start: January 24 – Announcements out to Parents and Staff with links
End : March 6 – Last day of shopping
Delivery to School: Mar. 18 – 22
Pick-up: Depending on the delivery of the chocolates. A notice from the school will come out ASAP.

HCDSB Skilled Trades Career Fair on Saturday, February 24, 2024!

Date: Saturday, February 24, 2024
Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: St. Francis Xavier Catholic Secondary School in Milton
1145 Bronte Street South, Milton, ON (Map)
The HCDSB Skilled Trades Career Fair will:
- Showcase the value and importance of careers in the skilled trades.
- Inform parents and students about what a career in the skilled trades entails.
- Educate students on how they can become a skilled tradesperson.
- Allow students to network and connect with community partners.
Students will be able to meet with colleges, businesses, and other community partners to learn about apprenticeship opportunities and future careers in the skilled trades.
