Embracing the theme of this year’s Catholic Education Week, “We are Called to Love”, HCDSB is excited to announce the “Fill a School Bus” Food Drive in support of Food4Kids Halton.
This initiative has been planned in partnership with the Halton OECTA Elementary and Secondary Associations, Halton Student Transportation Services, and our local school bus operators.
Food Collection Details
- From May 6-24, 2024, our HCDSB schools and work sites will be collecting non-perishable food items.
- Beginning May 27th, our local school bus operators will collect and deliver the food items directly to the Food4Kids Halton warehouse.
We Need Your Help!
All families and staff who are able to participate are encouraged to send non-perishable food items to their school or work location. Members of the broader HCDSB community who wish to participate may drop off donations at their local school, or at our Catholic Education Centre, located at 802 Drury Lane in Burlington.
Every contribution will go a long way in supporting this food drive!
Join us for a Culminating Event & BBQ!
Families, staff and members of the community are invited to celebrate the success of our food drive at a community gathering on Saturday, June 8th. Enjoy a BBQ, with all proceeds going to support Food4Kids Halton!
