Grade 12 Important Dates and Information:
Here are the important Grade 12 Graduation, Post-Secondary, Commencement and Graduation Gala (Prom) dates for the 2025-2026 school year.
| Post-Secondary Information Night and Fair (includes Graduation, Commencement information) | Wednesday September 24th, 2025 Post-Secondary Information Night and Fair 6:00pm-8:30pm Graduation, Post-Secondary Research and Application, OSAP, Bursaries and Scholarships. Representatives from many Colleges, Universities and Apprenticeships |
| Grade 12 Post-Secondary Pathway Meetings (students and Counsellors | October 1-December 12th, 2025 Students must book an appointment with their counselor to discuss their post-secondary pathway plan |
| Graduation Photos | November 17- December 5, 2025 Takes place at CtK and must book an appointment (Booking Link to come). The sitting fee includes the Class of 2026 Composite Photo (no sitting fee = no photo) If you miss these dates at CtK, you must book separately and go to their studio in Stoney Creek. |
| Ontario University Application Centre (OUAC) Deadline to Apply | Thursday January 15th, 2026 Deadline to apply to an Ontario University. $156 for 3 programs, $50 for each additional program choice (only 3 at 1 school) |
| CtK Graduation Application Form Due | January 30, 2026 All grade 12 students MUST complete this form: https://tinyurl.com/ctkgrad26 |
| Ontario Colleges Application Centre (OCAS) Equal Consideration Due Date | February 1, 2026 Deadline to apply to Highly Competitive Programs at Colleges. $150 for 5 programs (only 3 at 1 school). Recommended deadline to apply to all Ontario Colleges. |
| Commencement Fee Due | March 31, 2026 Commencement $100 fee paid on School Cash Online. NOW OPEN! Students MUST complete the CtK Graduation Application Form to order a gown. *Students must have a minimum of 29 credits in order to participate in the Commencement Ceremony. No refunds given after April 1st. |
| Final submission of Community Service hours due to Guidance | April 30, 2026 All grads must submit record of their 40 Community Service hours to guidance (if they have not already done so). Click here for the online form. |

| Graduation Gala (Prom) Ticket Sales Ticket Pick Up Table Selection | May 1-14, 2026 May 1 – “Prom” tickets can be paid for on SCO (CTK Grads $94.50 and Guests $99.75, incl 5% SCO fee, Guests must be approved prior to ticket sale May 11-14 – Ticket pick up and Table selection in RM 324 (with proof of payment. Tickets MUST be picked up and table selected by May 14 to attend the Gala (Prom) *Students cannot select their table seating until all community service hours are received by Guidance. |

| Commencement Ceremony | Wednesday June 24th, 2026 – 2:00pm Mattamy National Cycling Center (Velodrome) 2015 Pan Am Blvd, Milton Student Diplomas, Transcripts, Awards, etc. will be distributed at the ceremony. On-site parking is limited, plan to carpool and/or use the Shuttle buses |
| Alternate Diploma, Transcript pick-up date | Thursday June 25, 2026 If you DID NOT attend the Commencement Ceremony, you can pick up your diploma, transcript, etc. between 11am-3pm in Guidance. |
| Graduation Date AFTER June 30, 2026 | September 2026 If you a graduating AFTER June 2026, you must email your counsellor in September 2025 and notify them of your completed requirements and request a Diploma and Transcript to be printed. You will be notified when it is ready for pickup. |
