You are invited to share your feedback on two (2) surveys:
- The Strategic Plan Monitoring Survey is an annual survey we send out at the end of each school year to measure our progress towards achieving the goals in our current strategic plan. This survey will be open from Monday, June 5 to Friday, June 23, 2023.
- The MYSP Consultation Survey is designed to gather feedback from our HCDSB community about our next strategic plan, which is being developed this year. This survey will be open from Monday, June 5 to Friday, June 30, 2023.
Monitoring Our Current Strategic Plan
Our current strategic plan was developed and approved in 2016 and has been guiding our system efforts since then. Each year in June, we gather feedback from the HCDSB community through the Strategic Plan Monitoring Survey to help us evaluate our progress in meeting the goals of our current strategic plan.
- The survey is anonymous and confidential.
- All data will be collated, stored and protected by the HCDSB Research & Development department.
- This survey will be open from Monday, June 5 to Friday, June 23, 2023.

Looking Ahead to Our Next Multi-Year Strategic Plan
We are currently in the process of developing our next multi-year strategic plan (MYSP) to establish priorities and goals for the next few years. The Board of Trustees have hired a third-party consultant, Maximum City, to facilitate the renewal process. This process includes reflecting on the current plan and consultation with the HCDSB community to inform the new plan.
We are currently in Phase 2 of the MYSP development process, which includes reaching out to our HCDSB community to gather feedback and information. The information we receive from MYSP Consultation Survey will help our Board of Trustees and Senior Staff develop the next multi-year strategic plan.
- The survey is anonymous and confidential.
- The survey is open to students attending an HCDSB school in Grades 4-12. Secondary students will receive an email invitation at their school email account. Parents and guardians are welcome to share the survey link with their children in Grade 4-8.
- The feedback received will be analyzed by facilitators from Maximum City.
- This survey will be open from Monday, June 5 to Friday, June 30, 2023.
